Penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB Nur Rahmah

This research aims to determine the description of the Self-Acceptance process and the factors that influence Self-Acceptance in parents who have children with special needs or ABK at SLB Nur Rahmah. The method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects used were two mothers who had children who were diagnosed as having mental retardation. Data from the research carried out can be analyzed through a series of reductions to determine the validity of the data using data source triguation techniques. The research results show that each informant has a process of Self-Acceptance and different factors for Self-Acceptance can have different results. The first informant had good self-acceptance, while the second informant had poor self-acceptance.
