Developing Indonesian traditional culinary digital comic in learning procedure text

Learning media that integrates Indonesian traditional culinary aspects has played an important role in today's educational field, including English language teaching and learning. Previous studies demonstrated that it was feasible to use as the learning media in ELT classes. Hence, this research and development with a Plomp model aimed to develop English learning media that integrates Indonesian traditional culinary using Pixton in learning procedure text and describe its feasibility. Media Expert, Content Expert, English Teacher (Practitioner), and 32 studentsfrom classIX-D UPT SMPN 3 Gresik participated in this study. Field notes, validation sheets, and questionnaires were used as an instrument to collect the data.This study emphasizes that the researcher conducts preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment to develop learning media. Quantitative analysis on validation and student responses also reveals that developed learning media with Indonesian traditional culinary digital comic is feasible for learning procedure text by considering validity and practicality aspects. This research also postulates some recommendations for both teachers and students regarding the digital comic book of learning media with Indonesian traditional culinary in learning procedure text.
