Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the design process of mathematics pantun for developing university student’s mathematical literacy skills through service learning. The development research used seven stages. The participants of this study were two students of mathematics education and 19 students of junior high school in Surabaya. The data were obtained through field note, validation sheet, and questionnaire. The result oh the study showed that the development process of mathematics pantun through identifying potential and problem, collecting data, designing product, validating design, revising design, testing product, and testing the usage of product. Moreover, validity, practiability, and effectiveness of mathematics pantun are also described.
